Two tax returns?! How strange! I've never heard of married people keeping their finances so separate... Maybe it's people with money you guys are talking about, and since I grew up without, I guess I am used to there being no real need for more than one account because hell, after the bills are paid, there's really nothing left anyhow, and if there is, it probably goes into savings for some long-planned thing, like plane tickets to Ireland, or a new barn. I guess there's just never been a reason to have three accounts in my experience, since two of them would just sit empty...
