Don't listen to people on the internet, many of them are Japanese supremacist trolls like Benten that just love bashing on other Asians.

And when you are moving to a new country, expect to experience certain cultural shock or whatever, which is normal, if you expect everything to be smooth, then you'll be disappointed.
