Oka did not win the Golden Globe for best supporting actor in the television category, but it's great that he was at the very least nominated in the first place.

Masi Oka's visual effects resume at ILM is pretty impressive too. Pirates of the Caribbean 2, Terminator 3, the most recent Star Wars Trilogy, Hulk and War of the Worlds! He still works there a couple of days a week.



When he was 12, he was on the cover of the August 31, 1987 issue of Time magazine titled "Those Asian-American Whiz Kids".



Graduated in 1997 from Brown University with degrees in mathematics and computer science and a minor in theatre arts.

He has a 180-plus IQ.
