A lot of these points have truths, and untruths in them - I suppose it's where you go, and what you do in the respective countries.
I mean, look at this site - it seems to me that IR dating is very much bigger in the US than it is over the water.
Ireland is a lovely place for girls. IMO, racism still exists there; for example, I've heard stories of families finding it hard to accept that their daughter is dating a black man.
But, I would definately recommend Dublin as a great place to go.
