I really find the story hard to believe. Especially since the image obsessed Chinese government wouldnt want any bad press surrounding the olympics of their doing. It's probably true various people may have experience discrimination but its just as likely the people they were persecuting were so because they were critics of the government. Which in itself is bad, but doesnt sound as devisive as categorizing and mentioning these people by their race and religion.
