Any jazz lovers in the Ojai area? I'm keen on jazz, like Sarah Vaughn & Blossom Dearie, and would love to host a cocktail hour (or 3) at my place on Sunday or Saturday afternoons. Mind you I don't know how to mix, and I'd need to take turns with guests providing the drinks - they're just so expensive.

I'm a single mom with 2 little boys, so they would be under foot. We also keep a meat free home, so something between lunch and dinner with just snacks seems best.

I'm a pretty eclectic person and so would enjoy conversation with most. But let's just stay away from religion and politics - unless you tend toward spiritualism rather than Christianity and the Green party over Republicans.
