OK, now I know most people in this forum know that I tend to center on Latin America, both Spanish and Brazilian Portugese speaking. I'm not one to ignore the Carribean though, so in the interests of that, I'm setting up this thread as a resource about Asian Carribean peoples.
Also, I think this will be of interest to the black members of the forum, since as I've said, and said again, and will always say, race outside of the USA, is distinctly and totally different. So, yeah, it's nice to see that a lot of the chinese men in Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Belize, Guyana, Suriname, Trinidad, Tobago, etc, a lot of em marry black, or west indian women.
Everytime I explore these subjects, both at home and abroad, the one thing I keep concluding on, is how racial perceptions in the anglo world is incredibly f--ked up. Thank God the anglo world's dominance (as if there ever was dominance, culturally and socially speaking in the first place) is coming to an end!
