It works for me very well. However, it doesn't work for everyone. At least, in my impression it only works for me among my friends. I think it takes more than just asking the girl to teach you English. You have to have more factors to make it work. Being an asian guy in America, not like white guys in Asia, I have a lot of barriers to overcome and stereotypes to break. So I have to have something to attract the girl to me teach English. As for how I make it work, I think it is a long story. To make it short, I develop my own charm. Oh, they usually get turned on when they find that I am a scientist and also a hip-hop dancer.
