The "Please Teach Me English" technique?

That's always a tried and true standby especially for immigrants to the USA.

Do you all ask them for uh ... private tutoring sessions at your apartment also?

The thing about pickup moves is to taylor them for the specific person in question. That's why it's always good to study the person, their quirks, their personality, etc. before making any significant move.
