It is time for me to become an adult and have a nice home theater (esp in time for football season)
What I think I want is a projector to mount on the ceiling with wireless surround sound. But I don't feel I need a $2000 projector. Can't I just get one that is like $800? I'm not looking for top of the line movie theater, just something nice enough to enjoy tv, movies, and sporting events on large scale.

Can I go crappier? cheaper? My one at work is really crappy and I think it has a nice picture.
What about a cheap wireless surround sound with receiver? I don't need sony because I live in and condo so I can't blast it. Just for a normal volume level.
Should I just scrap this idea and get a flat screen??? It seems that the flat screen tvs that are big are going to run me around $1000 anyway. I don't want anything less than 32" (cause thats my crappy tv now) but for just a tv i want to pay like $500????
I know nothing about TV or projectors or surround sounds. You all tell me what to do and the best cheap companies to buy from
