I can't view the link, is the projector HDTV compatible? I think the higher the lumens the better.
For projectors you have to replace the bulb which can be expensive. It can also be very noisy, fans running, etc.
I don't know what the lifespan of an LCD screen is. If it preserves it's brightness over time. If you buy high end, I'm sure it'll last a long time.
What's nice about the projector is that you can make the viewing size huge! My friend bought a projector, and he made an outdoor backyard drive-in theater for his kids and for football games, using sailing cloth and pvc pipes. When it's not a drive-in, he sets it up in his basement. Which is probably the best place for a projector.
If you are not one to tinker with tecnology, I would probably get the LCD. You can watch it even during the day without having to close the curtains or replacing the bulb. Just turn on the tv and you're ready to go. Worry free.
