It's a remote theoretical possibility. If the the tiny blackholes can last long enough it can balloon up and swallow the earth, even the universe. This behemoth of a machinery can accelerate heavy particles close to the speed of light and ram them into each other to create a mini-Big Bang.

I'll leave it to the particle physicists to determine how mini this bang will be. If they are wrong, I couldn't have picked up a less painful way to die.
