I've only seen this and Athen's opening ceremony, but man THIS...
INCREDIBLE. It should be on DVD for sale, fucking hell. I wouldn't be too reluctant to watch it again (I hardly see anything twice).
My dad was telling me that China's showing off their power; you'd notice too. But man, I don't think ANY city could replicate, or even come close to, a ceremony like last night's. As I know it, China's invested heaps into that night, human resources and monetary, and it showed; it was so perfect.
I reckon China will get a new sense of respect from around the world.
