I'm not sure about everyone else in here, but have you ever noticed that while in a relationship, you somehow find/meet more people who seem to be interested in you versus when you are single?
I hate it! While in almost every relationship I've been in, I had numerous romance interests (not boasting or bragging) come around my way without any effort. But the moment you become single, it's like almost impossible to find a date!
Am I just making this up in my own mind or has this happened to anyone else?
Lately, I've come to the realization that I'm not getting any younger, and that I have to start searching for a potential life partner. It just frustrates me to no end that I'm having such a hard time finding someone decent to even sit down and chat with! ESPECIALLY IN NYC!!! Maybe my standards have become higher by specifically searching for someone with better goal oriented quality and a genuine kindness rather than just any relationship? The first thing I thing I ask myself nowadays is, "Is this woman marriage material?"
Is it wrong to think that way?
