Disclaimer this will offend some people.
In my limited understanding of Indian culture it is super awesome to be white or have lighter babies. So if you did ever see an IM and BF couple more than likely she is just a sports F*@k for him, he is adopted, or he really wants to tick off his parents.
From what I understand their dating scale is as such
Indian Women1(light skinned)
Other Asian Women
White Women
