the other night I was talking about the "initial/first" things you're "supposed" to do when seeing a woman you're interested in.

Anyways easily, we both agreed that it was eye contact with a smile even or a nod, no real argument.

However, the other guy said that you can't keep eye contact too long otherwise it's really creepy, and you should look away after a second or two.

I said that you should only look away when he(for the ladies)/she looks away before you decide to, and that it wasn't creepy because he/she would be keeping eye contact too, and in that case she would be the "creepy" one.

Anyways, your thoughts and opinions?
