Being born in '84 makes me a Y, but I often feel more like I'm an Xer. I grew up watching many older shows that were repeating on tv and older movies, and I often wanted to copy my older sister or aunts who are Xers. Once I was talking to someone, I can't remember exactly what the conversation was about, but I know it was about something that used to be popular, and I was asked her, "Hey, do you remember ???whateveritwasblahblah???" And she just looked at me completely puzzled, before saying, "Oh that was before my time." I felt really old then, only to realize later we were born the same year!

And as a random side note, I hate text messaging. I don't have the patience to keep pressing tiny keys; calling seems much easier to me.
