I'm sure it's been said, but it's not only Asian men. I would venture to say a great majority of straight men have no idea what style is, or where to find a good tailor. But, a lot of men in general don't want to deal with the hassle of doing all that to look good, it would take a lot more time buying clothes, trying them on, and comparing looks, and heaven forbid accessorizing. lol Plus, it costs a lot of money, usually, to dress well, unless you really have an eye.

For me it depends on the trendy preppy clothes. Some guys just pull off certain looks better than others. Then, there are the chameleons who would probably look great in a brown sack.
I definitely feel you on the leather. My tastes run the gamut when it comes to what I like seeing on men. A tailored, nice suit is on the same level as bondage elements like tethers. Mandarin-collar tuxes are nice too. If it looks good on the man, I'd like it. Though, I'm starting to lean toward (for male casual wear) the Onii-kei and Gyaruo looks from Japan.

Creativity certainly gets extra points.
True power; the divine right to rule? Is something you're born with.
I'm not gay; you're just threatened by my superiority.
