Has anyone ever had bouts of memory blanking out on them more often after turning 28?
It seems that my memory is on the fritz more often this year than last! Mind you, I can probably blame on stress for part of it, but not all of it.
It seems that I don't even remember exactly what I did with a number of things and I don't seem to have an exact timeline of things after about the first of the year, when I did remember last seeing those things.
Is this memory blanking out getting more and more common by this time of our lives, or is it way too early for that?
Your brain starts declining after age 20- it's all downhill from there. Fortunately there are things you can do to improve brain function- you can exercise your brain just like other parts of the body. Many people take ginkgo biloba for memory improvement.

I noticed my memory going in my early thirties, then after chemo at 37, it got even worse. Some days are better than others. I take it in stride for the most part. It's easier that way.

For what it's worth, the number of brain cells actually starts to decline around the tender age of 1. What a pisser huh? The good news is that it's not so much the number of brain cells as it is the connections between the cells that is of importance.
Having said that, I have more than my fair share of "blank out" moments and far too often. I'm 33 btw. I often joke about eventually getting the Alzheimer's as I get older.
yes it certainly does decline, but there are many things one can do to "reverse" or should I say restore or even improve what u had if one doesnt treat their bodies like immortal entities like they did when they were young. That is eat healthy and work your body and brain healthy .
