I guess you can see it that way; "they are 30 and never had sex? there *MUST* be something wrong with them, otherwise they would have already had sex or a long term relationship with someone".

But isnt it possible that they just have self respect for themselves (not saying anyone who has had sex before 30 does not :P), and just unfortunately haven't met anyone who is worth it yet?

Don't worry that's just speaking from their own point of view, albeit a limited one, because most of us can only speak from our own experiences. Obviously one must take into account of numerous well-adjusted ppl out there who are from another culture, conservative in values, follow religious beliefs, those who actually believe in saving themselves for marriage (yes they exist), or just haven't found the right person yet. So there's oodles of reasons, whatever they may be.

The OP wasn't about lack of sex! nor was it necessary to trumpet the OBVIOUS in the OP... people being individuals... but that's just me..

You mentioned it was a red flag; for me it would depend on the reason they had never had a ltr (if there was a reason).
