Ok I'm hardly the ladies man, but thought I'd also throw this up for discussion.
Ask Sam brought up this discussion, which talked about an asian female and how her and her white boyfriend got all sorts of 'looks' from people in the street.

Right, those of you who are in a mixed relationship (AF/XM , AM/XF), do you notice any such reactions from people in the street?
I go out with a female friend of mine when I'm in Melbourne. I always notice a lot of looks from people, nothing which really comes across as hostile, but more like a certain curiosity.
I get the feeling that asian girls seem more interested when I am with this girl.
I think some drunk aussie guy blurted out to his friends "how the hell is that happening?" (something to that effect), I suspect he was talking about the two of us, but I was pretty drunk myself and hardly cared, I'd already gotten what I wanted that night.
A friend of mine had a white girlfriend for a little while, he said when they went out 'there's a bit of public pressure for you two to break up'. His perception of the situation.
Any thoughts?
