I know Melbourne somewhat well myself since I've been there 7 times previously. No need to show me around. Meeting up for a beer or two would be cool though. I've got a bunch of friends down there, so we could maybe make it a group thing sometime during January. I'll get in touch just before arriving in early Jan.

No, not making it to Brisbane or Gold Coast. I've actually never been up the coast farther than Sydney. Some year, I need to extend my usual business trip by a few weeks to explore more of Oz. I've got a friend that lives in Noosa, and he keeps telling me I need to visit.
