I've spent time in Mongolia but I didn't go farther into eastern russia. But even in Mongolia there was a russian community. My guide took me to a russian owned bar where there were some hot russian girls serving drinks. It wasn't a strip club. Just a regular bar but so different than bars I go to in the states. First of all, the waitresses wore bikini tops and short skirts. Second, it was so easy to flirt with them (as much as I could with the guide translating). I came across an article about the trend of russian women wanting asian husbands. I wonder if anyone has experienced this.
i used to know this chick from Belarus(bella-roose) which is a former province of the soviet union, and i gotta tell you, man, that chick's guy friends were all crazy gun-carrying, cold-blooded Russian gangsters. i'm a bit intimidated by them because they all grew up in russia, and it ain't easy growing up in such a corrupt environment.
but other than that, russian women are hot! well actually, i take that back -- the HOT russian women are hot.
To put a Russian girl together with a soft, polite, Western-values indoctrinated Asian guy (with shaky self-esteem to boot) would be like putting Hannibal Lector into a room with a Forest Gump.

Well, the cure for that is to simply NOT be an Asian guy who is only cosmpolitanized in a North American way.
I try to appear international myself and it works (Asian int'l students are- contrary to popular belief- much more socially apt then the Asian dudes here in North America, btw...almost any curious campus girl can tell you that), when I get to know girls from abroad. Speaking of Siberia, I was talking randomly with an ethnic Russian girl from the Sakha republic, a very remote autonomous region in the Russian Federation.
