For those of you whom I have chatted with and to those of you whom have exchanged PM's/emails with me and to all others whom are curious....
Here is some information about me, the website and the future of AZNLover.

About Me

No, I am not Mike. Mike is the previous owner of AL.
Mike and I completed the transaction of ownership of AL on 9/30.
I have assumed the member ID "aznlover"
No, I don't know Mike personally and have never met with or spoken with him until 9/24.
I live in Los Angeles
I am happily married. Been married for 8 years as of July this year. My spouse is Thai. No kids.
I am an old man - 38 yrs old.

I am a consultant with a full time job.
I own/operate three other Forum sites besides this one.
I own/operate or have partnership in 57 other web properties/sites
I am not here to pick up, sleep with members, or any other thoughts you may have had about me. I may flirt but that is it.
I am not someone's "bitch" - I am not gay - I am not a ripoff artist - I am not a "Click fraud" scammer and I am not many of the other names that I have been called or referred to as since taking over this site. Yes..there are other names and accusations.

Since taking over this site, I have definitely come across/interacted with some unique individuals whom have left a lasting impression on me. Both good/bad and otherwise.
I have remained somewhat in the shadows for the most part so that I could witness some of the day to day activity and interactions. I have definitely been surprised more than a few times already. I can also say that I have seen some things I would rather not have seen. I will also say that I have seen things that I do not like at all...such as

1. Constant bickering
2. Constant belittling of other members
3. Outright instigation of arguments and conflict
4. Blatant disregard for other members, Site admins, and site rules.
5. Previous mis-use of Admin/Moderator trust, professionalism and powers either to their own benefit or to their cliques benefit.

Going forward, ALL of these will cease or those that violate such will take a vacation from AL via short term or permanent vacation.
Starting today, the site will be run in adherence to the following guidelines with little to no deviation from these.

Regarding #5 - I have had numerous request from current and previous members wanting to know why they were banned etc. Going forward, if you are banned, the co-admins have been instructed to let me know personally and for what reasons. Banning can be either temporary or permanent depending on the circumstance. If you feel you have been or were banned for wrong reasons, contact me personally. I do stand behind the current co-admins and I ask them about every discrepancy so please don't think I am an easy push over just because I'm the new guy. The co-admins run the place. If you feel for any reason that any of the co-admins is acting out of line...again, contact me personally. Otherwise, their word is the law of the forum. I appreciate their work and I definitely appreciate each and every member being here and cooperating with each other and the admins.

Just recently I was made aware of a website many of you may know already by the name aznlover.net From what I understand, this .net site was also owned and operated by the previous owner of this site. I have nothing to do with the .net site nor was it part of the ownership transaction between Mike and I.

(1) PUA etc....I have been asked if I will allow the PUA and other .net site related things to go on here. Personally, I don't care but from what I have seen and been told...their is a strong demand for it. Having said that, Mr RogueSpear is the keeper of that part of the site. The other co-admins assist, but RS is your primary contact for that area. If you want access/once had access etc. and you have questions...talk to RogueSpear. All I ask is that the controverial and secretive stuff be posted in that area so as not to upset the rest of the general forum membership.
(2) Personal Identity VERIFIED Memebers - I have been ask how to get verified. For now, it will remain as-is. If you want the status of PI, then you can contact one of the admins and they will explain how to get this done..ie webcam/pic etc. In the near future and do to lots of trolls etc. I will be changing the PI verification process and restricting more areas of the site to prevent some of the problems that have been lingering here on AL. More to come on this.
(3) Ladies Lounge - In all honesty...I haven't even ventured in there myself. Ms Bergie and Mrs Nomad told me to keep the hell out and I have done just that. So ANY questions regarding how to get access, etc. regarding the Ladies Lounge...talk to the aforementioned Ladies. nuf said!
(4) Nude pics - Please...do not post nude pics in the public forum. This is for your benefit and mine as well. The public forum is crawled by the search engines, tolled by the trolls and who knows what or whom else. Every single member has a photo gallery. Put the pics in the PhotGallery either in a public album or a private album. You can make your albums private and give access accordingly or you can mark the content as "Mature/Adult" and this will prevent public exposure from the search engines etc. and give access to only those whom you want to see your pics.
(5) Chatroom and Video/Cams - The cams are working again for those of you whom haven't been in for a few days. I am also looking at alternative cam/chat products as I realize after more than a few people get on cam, it slows down and "lag" is bad...especially for those doing the camming.

Future of AZNLover
This site is one of the pioneers in it's niche of communication. It has been around longer than most of the other sites of the same nature all combined together. That is 100% due to you and your fellow members. I personally thank you for that. I want to see the site continue to grow and flourish and for it to do so, I need all of you to help. As Dardillion can attest to.....I work for all of you. There have been many sites like AL pop up over the last year or less. Many of you probably frequent some of these other sites and hey...that's cool. However, I do know that there is a growing frustration amongst members here over many of the things I have mentioned above. Therefore that is one of the reasons I will not tolerate some of those things going forward. You guys get angry and leave. I don't want that at all if I can prevent it.

So....to help the site grow, add new features etc. I am relying on you to tell me what you would like to see or see changed. Don't send me 100's of emails about the 5th icon on the third page in the 9th paragraph should be orange type of shit...please. I am very open to ideas as well as criticism. I make mistakes and unpopular choices. You have to tell me what works and what doesn't. Perfect example...the recent forum color and cosmetic changes. When I heard/read enuf fussing...I corrected the wrong for the most part.

Anyway...a few things I will tell you about that are on the site already but not publicly visible just yet:
(1) A dating system - for those seeking dates and more, you will be able to post profiles/bio's etc.
(2) A link directory - for those that want to list your favoite or good websites based in categories...you will be able to share those links with the rest of us
(3) As mentioned briefly above - the Personally Identified status will carry much more weight and have greater/broader access to the site whereas those that are not verified will not be given as much access.
A few other things on the burner but I'll let them be a surprise. Again though...if you would like to see something, shoot me an PM.

Welcome Tom, good to read the words behind the guy behind the site that benefits from the hundreds of dollars I've spent on purchases from the ad links here.

When looking for a new chat package, it would be great to find one that was Mac-compatible on the cam feature. The chat here used to be, but glitched out after an upgrade about a yer ago.

No, I don't have a previous username. Never came here before mid September.

On the chat/cam...well there are only two possible and affordable options at this point....Flash or Java. The site currently uses Flash which is the most common on community sites such as this one. Java is also popular but a bit pricey depending.

Cool! Which part of town are you from? I'm actually from Farmers Branch. But, it's really due to this site that I moved, I met so many wonderful friends out here that I felt comfortable moving to this part of the country.
