Hey, that's cool, thanks for installing! And my webcam works in there! yay. It looks like the message board may need to be wiped when the last person leaves or else the text is preserved for all to see later?
Thanks risky! It is a commercial chat/vid package used by many big sites. I haven't done much customization with it yet as I thought it was OK the way it is. So that might be why it looks familiar and it's not a whole lot different from what we were previously using here.
Hopefully everyone else will find it easy, familiar and stable too.

Glad to hear! Yes the msg history "lives" for a short period. Can't remember off the top of my head for how long. I can change it accordingly.

Btw...are you using a Mac or PC?
Ah, the message history lives for a short period.... kind of like my memory.
I tried out the webcam with an Apple iSight cam on an Apple Powerbook 1.25 Ghz PPC G4. Mac OS 10.4.1. The chat auto-picked up on the mic on the chat, noticeable by the sound bars bouncing to the side of the vid, so I just clicked the mic icon to cut audio from being sent.

Good to know! I don't use a Apple/Mac but some folks were saying the previous chat/video did not work with a Apple/Mac. The new one uses both Java and Flash...so I'm thinking those Apple people shhould be OK now.
Good job Tom That's a very interesting new chat, LOL A little too cutesy for my dark, Gothic soul but I like it! It took me a few mins and other people to tell me how to use it. Yeah I'm a tard, computer is not my first language.
I'm on a mac and it worked very well. No probs there. The vids worked but no one was on mic so I'm not sure how well the voice chat works on Mac yet.
My only concern is that there is so much space between every line of chat that on really busy nights, with everyone talking at once, the text will move too soon and we'll lose most of the conversation. Is there a way to make the text closer together or smaller or something?
