The NEW Aznlover Self-Improvement Forum (AL SI) is up and running and available for access!


Mission Statement:

Our goal at this site, since its inception, with the creator/former Aznlover and the leadership of the past has always been to show the different sides of Asian Men that go against the grain of Western perceptions and media expressions of who they think we are. Since then, much has changed and the site has undergone many internal and cosmetic changes and taken on many different facets, which was necessary and good for the growth and survival of an online community.

But what had been lacking in the recent past was what the Art of Charisma section had provided for Asian male members in the historical past, which was a private forum to share in-depth, highly-detailed and communal discussions between guys on how we, as individuals, can change, alter and augment ourselves mentally and physically in ways to get past our - and their - social mis-conceptions, and to share our experiences, learn from each other as we improve ourselves and the quality of our personal lives through experimenting with new and different approaches towards attaining the objects of our desire in the real world.

It is our hope that this new sub-forum will provide that outlet once again, but in a fashion that will be quite different from the way it used to be. This new forum will be based on a community effort and will not have a single or two leaders running the show, but a growing brotherhood of online and off-line friendships between guys who want to help each other, inspire each other and support each other as we take the proper steps towards becoming better, more successful men and a walking symbol of who Asian men really are.

We hope you join us in this fresh and new beginning and help contribute, shape and develop the forum as it evolves.

Rules & Notes:

• Acceptance will be moderated by Roguespear, azncowboy, Dancealot and Exington, as well as all moderation duties within that forum.
• Requirements for acceptance include a recent picture and a detailed Private Message to one of the moderators explaining why you want to join this forum.
• No bashing or insulting to One-Up another member will be allowed whatsoever. This is not a Who's-The-Bigger-Pimp contest and any type of behavior resembling that will result in removal and possibly a ban.
• The sub-forum is not strictly about PUA but will include all the information regarding that subject as well as discussions on relationships, love, personal fitness, fashion/style and just plain shooting-the-shiet.
• A new Pictures and Video sub-forum is also available. We're not quite sure where thats going to go, but we're excited about the possibilities.

just so everyone knows, i'm not running this show. i'm a student of that forum. i wanna learn how to meet HOT WOMEN and FUCK them and then tell all the bros about it. 'course, this will include how often i get dissed along the way too.

Just as long as the men keep an open mind, AND stop bitching and actually DO SOMETHING!

It's one of the reasons I've only given suggestions to people who asked me, mainly because I'm a big believer in seeing oneself as a continual project to improve, hone, and better. But the one's who ask are the ones who want to learn. I've run into far too many whiners.

With that said, probably the first thing to work on is something called GOALS.
And if you understand spanish or portugese, you'll notice that I talk about that a lot in my interviews in South America, mainly because they're shows that are geared towards young people, and the interviewers asked me what message I had to impart to the youth.

What I talk about is how you can never hit a target that you don't know. Until you've defined your target, you can take all the shots you want, and you'll always miss. So the first step is to set a definite goal that you have a 50% chance of achieving, with a deadline. As in a time, date, and year. And then WRITE IT DOWN on paper, and stick it somewhere where you'll see it everyday. Stick it in your wallet, on your bathroom mirror, on your door, anywhere where you can see it constantly.

The second step is to acquire knowledge about your goal, and the tools and knowledge you'll need to get to that goal. That's where you talk to experts, read books, take courses, listen to lectures, and get real world experience that will take you towards your goal.

The third step is to assemble a team that will help you to your goal. In my interviews, I stated each and every time that my team during my expedition was every single person who helped me along the way. I went out of my way to say thanks to all of them on TV. Because it's true, without them as my team, my trip would've been that much more hazardous.

To learn more about the science of goals, I'd start with a book on goals from Brian Tracy, or his program, the Ultimate Goals Program, from Nightingale-Conant. It's great stuff, and I listen and review his stuff twice a year to stay sharp and on edge. That's actually how I manage to do the things that I do. There's nothing special about me, there's no secret as to how I manage to assemble the finances to do the things that I do. I just set goals, deadlines, a plan to do it, and assemble a team to work with on it, and then start cracking at it every day.
