Straight from our friends @ Wikipedia:
A
tag cloud (or
weighted list in visual design) is a visual depiction of user-generated
tags used typically to describe the content of web sites. Tags are usually single words and are typically listed alphabetically, and the importance of a tag is shown with font size or color.
[1] Thus both finding a tag by alphabet and by popularity is possible. The tags are usually hyperlinks that lead to a collection of items that are associated with a tag.
To use the feature: When posting or replying...look at the very bottom and there will be either a Tag or Add Tag option.
For the record: No, I never said anything to to anyone about the Tag Cloud..to include Risky. He posted this on his own and it is a useful feature if used appropriately. However tagging useless posts or posts like "what's in your clip board cache" will be picked up by the search engines more quickly as well as embold the tag itself to inaccurately reflect the site contents or purpose. Just FYI.
