Well Girlie,
The reason why it's set up like this is because we used to get flooded with a TON of the following:
newbies without a clue who posted wildly before learning the rules of the road.
racist idiots who want to rant against the site
moles who attempt to sabotage what we're trying to do
people with personal issues ready to rant off against anyone
and wacko's with lots of time on their hands
The site's focus is to bring more positivity IN. We try not to feed and fester negative garbage. We'll debate, we'll argue, but anything that's obviously blatant, we try to screen for.
The result of this policy is a forum that's relatively healthy in discussion. So be patient, post in your individual thread, and show yourself to us. After all, this forum is based on trust, and unfortunately, the internet has few ways to demonstrate trust other than some kind of committment towards being trustworthy. So post more about yourself, your views, but in your introduction thread.
