Just for technical purposes FYI;
I could chat fine on Tuesday and I was trying to get word to AL that Omikron couldn't get in. I wondered the same.
I did the instructions,,I did the different browsers,
I did the ISP thing for two hours.
I even did the openDNS.com thing and so far, nothing.
The flash of message that showed up when trying to log in to chat was that I needed to update Flash,,,did that, too. Nothing.
Omikron was using openDNS.com prior to this happening.
Yeah, but we shouldn't have to check the DNS or verify from ISP's for chat to work. We didn't when this version of chat was installed. Tom, hopefully, you'll figure something out soon.
I'm on MAC and joined the sausage fest tonight for a while. Have you tried to reset your Safari? Go to Safari, the reset safari- make sure everything is checked cache, history etc etc.

Guys/Ladies...I don't know Mac syntax or Gui...so me trying to tell you how or what to do would not be a good thing.
I do know unix/linux and from what I hear, the latest Mac's run one of the variants under the cover.
Anyway....I asked one of the media server guys to take a once over of the chat/video. He pointed out a few things but I haven't had the opportunity yet to investigate. I am still very skeptical as only 10 or less folks are having issues and it appears a good majority of you are running Macs/Apple.

Yeah Tom, it was running fine before the servers changed or whatever the changes were. Now, I just can't get in at all.

I'm using the new Firefox version 3, reset it, or rather deleted all the cache and clean restart and still the same thing.. Have you tried going into chat and see if it works for you? Or if anyone who has a mac and can get into chat, post here what you are using and specifications of your browser settings...
