it would help if you would stop telling us about additional expenses. you could, however, try to have a little fundraising type of announcement again or such.

i think that it is not fair on either side to always have to have the issue of money thrown around. i, also, truly believe that more people on this site could contribute, especially long lasting members.

ummm...Xqzmi, I wasn't nagging anyone for money nor will I. I was simply stating a fact that with new enhancements/features come additional expenses which "I" incur. I'm not obligated to expend anymore than I feel I want to nor should any member feel I am nagging or obligating them to donate/contribute. I do appreciate very much those that do however...including yourself!

The donation option is in one of the most visible locations on the site...at the top of the forums. I do agree with your comment that more could contribute but I know alot of people are already stretched thin these days and if it means their kid can get a new toy or see a movie vs donating $5-$10 etc here...I want the kid get what he/she needs. However, if it's someone who spends all day on here, enjoys multiple Starbucks lattes a day...then I think they can afford to donate the cost of one latte to the site! And if every regular active member here donated just $1 a year, the site cost fund and the AL Meetup fund would be fully funded. That aint bad, and isn't breaking anyone's piggy bank.

Donating? It is only done through paypal? If there is another way, then I will donate!

aznlover, remember this is not a thread about making donations. and even though some of us know and have noticed immediately that there have been some schooling in the donations, don't be too hard on those who did not know right then. they are offering money. lol.

that is one reason i was inquiring about a banner.

i think that if there was a disclaimer on the page of the donation directly, it would help many many many members to understand what is going on.

Xqzmi - maybe you should re-read this thread from the beginning! You my dear are the one whom brought the entire "donation" thing into the thread....subsequently shitting on it and then sidetracking the OP's post.

I have removed a few of the ramblings already from here but since you sidetracked the original post, other's have continued the Q&A on the donation subject. I simply responded to their question and I think I have the right to do so.
