you know what, it should not be something like pressure to donate at all...but, if you have been on the site for a LONG enough time, you should consider donating and we have a thread on this already.

i know, who wants to go and search for it, right. oh well, life goes on.

don't worry about it and take care of more important things first. you are still new. it should be us who have been on here longer that should think about donating. i am not saying those who can't afford it, but, a little something is not bad. you know. there is no pressure for you to.

For the OP, not people like Dies, Dude, I don't even have a job and I donated $20. I have been living off my savings (meager that they are and I live in an expensive area of the US) for a month but I figure this is my favorite place to hang out when I'm home and it's the least we can do to help support the site. It had nothing to do with the PM limitation (not even sure it existed at the time that I donated). It had to do with helping out in what little way I could since Tom does so much for us. How about less bitching and more gratitude! You're on here for free and you're whining?!? WTF!?!
