I recently had the "pleasure" of having a 2-3 month fling with a girl from Paris that went to school in the US.

While it ended horribly (long distance troubles), I did learn some important things.

French girls can be just as shy as anyone else... so those sexual stereotypes...throw them out because it will only hurt you.

French girls can be very confusing and contradicting! This one was shy...but somehow had the guts to find me AND my phone number without me telling her anything after the first time I met her...she also went from infatuation to bitch in a matter of months. still a little weirded out...but whatever.

I don't think they appreciate American humour as much as we do. Such as Borat...they do make fun of eastern europeans and romanians a lot, which is something I don't like.

Remember, in France they think all asians eat dogs and are short skinny people who own restaruants (most in france prob ARE!). So sometimes the french will ask you stuff about it. It is really just curiousity rather than anything bad.
