Tips for aspiring Parisian.... how to get a job in France?

Anyone has any tips on procedures for moving and getting a job in France or even got any stories to tell on Asian American expats working in France or any other places in Europe? I am a Korean American and I am an aspiring Parisian. I am graduating from college with a degree in geography pretty soon and I want to get a job that would allow me to work in Paris. How do I go about it? I know my degree is very useless in the job market. Anyhow, my recent trip to Paris had a huge impact on me. I don't know why but the city itself remains as the most beautiful place in my heart and I want to belong there. If not possible, any sort of jobs that would allow me to travel internationally (preferably European countries) works fine for me too. What are some jobs out there that would allow me to travel quite often?
Another thing, I know that it's extremely hard to find a job in Europe in general due to its high unemployment rates. And getting a work permit and a residency is just another complicacy.
I am ready to give up everything that I currently posses and start a new life in France. I can't speak French that well and I don't know shit about the French culture. But I will learn the language, customs, and whatever is necessary. But one thing I know for sure is that if I don't take a risk for what I desire from the bottom of my heart.... that's when I fall and grow old...

Junyi, I've been living in France for almost 30 years and been in Paris for almost 25 years. I grew up here, went through highschool, university and jobs here in Paris. Maybe I
could help you with some tips.

With your college degree in geography, the best thing you could do is to work in the tourism industry. There are a lot of companies catering to American tourists here in Paris, I guess you could try to find something with them.

As for the work and residency permit or 'carte de sejour' as it is called in French, you can get it if you manage to get a job with a pay of more than 2000€ per month. If you really want to live in Paris, you should know that housing here is very expensive. A one bedroom appartment can cost 500€ per month or more, so be prepared.

If you wanna know more things about Paris, feel free to ask.
