Agreed, it was weird to watch its a similar situation with the England footy team. Decent individuals but shite team! Cory was trying his best but the rest of the forwards weren't keeping up with his determination. Sheridan needs to want the ball more. Farrel...I don't know why but I was always expecting Farrel to be a 'crash, bang' type of player but he's nothing of the sort. Although tough he lacks the pace to be an proper back but fortunately his tackling is pretty good. Robinson was the only useful player we had shame about the hamstring. Sackey might as well have stayed on the bench, he says he's improved his tackling but he needs to improve his attacking too. Gommarsal fucking useless. Ben Kay fucking liability. Lineouts were poor, scrums were poor, pretty much all forward play was crap. But credit to SA they had pissed all over us and controlled the match from the first whistle. That's my brief critique, now Wales v Aus worst part of that one is I don't know which one I want to lose more

LOL notice I've kept my gob shut about the fortunes of the Aussies... I'll be on tenterhooks for the result and I don't want to tempt fate!

I don't think it's earth-shattering to confess that, on current form, I would rather the Wobblies have to face England rather than Sth Africa in the QF!

The Japies have to be a dead cert for the Final provided they can get past FRA/ARG/IRE in the SF. The Boks are looking ominous. And they've got that devious little weasel E. Jones in their corner these days.

The Aussies against Wales in Cardiff... yes, I'm Bloody Nervous!!!

As much as I abhor 'Robolock', that thug Danny Grewcock would always have been useful against a team full of thugs like S'effrica.

I remember during the 2001 Lions Tour, he was behaving like UFC fighter not a rugby player, and he got away with it for the most part. I suppose not this time round though, ENG would have ended up playing 65 mins of the match with 14 men. LOL

Larkham breaks down with knee injury

Rupert Guinness and Greg Growden in Cardiff | September 15, 2007

Wallabies five-eighth Stephen Larkham is in doubt for Australia's crucial group game against Wales at Millennium Stadium after injuring his knee during training on Friday.

Larkham was taken to hospital for MRI scans after breaking down during kicking practice at the end of the captain's run.

"It appears that he aggravated an old injury but it doesn't appear to be serious," said Wallabies coach John Connolly. "He will have a run tomorrow [Saturday] morning and then we will make a decision.

"He will have treatment today, and tomorrow morning at 7.30am there will be a meeting among the coaches and selectors to discuss how he has pulled up. But he will have a run at 8am and then we'll know how he is.
"Right now he is 50-50, but if this was Thursday and he was playing on Saturday, he would be OK."

If Larkham does not play, Berrick Barnes will come in at No.10. But even if Larkham is declared fit, the bench may still be reshuffled, with Barnes becoming the third back in the seven-man mix, with a forward dropping out.

^ MRI scans??????? Next thing you know, he'll be out of the entire fucking RWC completely!!!!!

Watched the Aus vs Wales match and Gareth Thomas didn't do himself any favours the ginger twat! Also watched NZ vs Portugal and although NZ dicked the minnows they had some pretty hairy moments. Portugal were pretty good though inspite of the scoreline, a couple of years and they may be considered for the 6 nations. As for Grewcock he is the one player I never want to see in an England shirt again! But yeah, would've been useful against SA for about 5 mins before he gets sin binned.

One person I never want to see with a ref's whistle again is Steve Walsh Jr. the fucking egomaniac nancy-boy! Goddamn prima donna. He kept the Welsh in it with wanky penalties and our lock didn't deserve to be sin-binned, I don't think. Ok, I got that off my chest.

Well, nice to see the Wobblies limp past the Taffies by the skin of their teeth, the clueless mob of galahs! LOL The scrum looked decidedly shaky though I have to say that the Welsh milked a couple of those penalties and Steve "Ken Doll" Walsh Jr was only too happy to oblige and ingratiate himself to the crowd by penalising the Wobblies when the Welsh scrum was blatantly holding back from the engagement or collapsing the scrum from their side. Bunch of sheepshagging twats (the Welsh and the ref). LOL

Our new scrumhalf though had a really great game considering he's about 17yo and this is his second international (against the bleating Welsh at Millennium Stadium, no less!). That kid was amazing! I just hope his luck and form lasts. How about that cheap, late shot that Gareth Thomas laid on him? No arms, shoulder charge, fractionally late. Why wasn't he marched for that, the Ginger Twat!!! Anyway, good old Stirlo dealt him some rough justice just minutes later. LOL It didn't look that ultra-violent in slo-mo but GT seemed to have forgotten his name, rank and serial number!

So, if the Wobblies can get past the might of Fiji and Canada without tripping up, they will probably see the Poms in the QF (unless the Samoans cause the upset to end all upsets by knocking out said poms) and the Aussie scrum will get put through the wringer again. Can't bloody wait. LOL

Vickery will be back and presumably Barkley and Wilkinson will be available too. And who knows? We might see Dall and Worsley back as well. We've seen the last of Robinson, I'm afraid, which is bad for rugby in general but good for the Wobblies maybe they will bring Cueto back because Sackey was pretty bloomin' ineffectual t'other night.

The must bin Perry, Catt and maybe Farrell and play Barkley and Wilko at 10 and 12 respectively. Perhaps mover Farrell to 13 (anyway, have they got a choice? Is there anyone else still standing??). Lewsey to fullback, Cueto on one wing and Sackey or Tait on the other. Worsley and Moody should play too. Oh, who cares anyway? LOL

I hope Stirlo is going to be ok.

The prick is a martial experts expert, no less. And there he was, snotting our blokes from behind during the 2001 Lions Tour. Disgraceful. I remember him running in from nowhere and sucker-punching our loosie under the ear for no apparent reason. 6 months later back in England he gets suspended for biting or stamping on either Dall or Johno (can't remember which). LOL

NZ have such an easy run through the group stages that I'd love to see them underdone when the reach the QFs and get bundled out of the comp by FRA or ARG - that would make me ROFL!!!

Maybe Wales can do everyone a favour by softening up the Saffies too. But I didn't think the Welsh pack looked particularly 'ard - certainly Charvis is no match for those thugs that the ABs and SA have got in their back five like Bakkies Botha, Schalk Burger, Jerry Collins, Sione Lauaki, et al....

Some great match-ups coming up: NZ vs FRA/ARG (I've taken the liberty of writing off the Irish LOL), SAF v WAL, ENG v Samoa .... I can't wait!!

I don't know about Portugal yet but did you see the way they sang their national anthem? Talk about passion! LOL

But I would like to see Georgia and Romania in the Six Nations sooner rather than later (bet Ireland wouldn't be looking forward to it though, lol).

One thing I've never understood is why the Dutch and Germans don't play rugby to a higher level? They don't have a shortage of large, burly thugs in their countries so what's the bloody problem? Perhaps they just don't like contact.
