Here in Toronto, Canada Chinatown in downtown does not seem that affluent, but other Asian areas seem more affluent. Chinese areas in the north are very nice, I like downtown Koreatown, North York at Yonge is clean and nice and living there is EXPEEENSIVE...
By ghettos I mean areas where is concentrated a sole ethnic group, like Chinatown, Koreatown or Little Saigon where you can find only people from the same ethnic group. I didn't mean ghetto in the sense of Black underclass neighborhood.
Of course, you can live very comfortably in a very affluent ghetto where you are surrounded only by people of your own ethnicity.
Concerning me, I prefer to live in a cosmopolitan city like Paris where you have all ethnicities mixed together.

Funny that you use the word ghetto for racially homogenic areas. The word ghetto sounds so negative... If you wanna use a word for a certain area, I just call it area. Ghetto is so... Negative.
There are "bad" and poor areas with homogenic population, and multiethnic population.
How do French Asians dress over there & the hairstyle?
And BTW, that is Melissa Theuriau in my avatar for those who keep asking
Are French girls like her a dime' a dozen' over there?
Most of the Asian French who have been in France for quite a long time tend to dress like the White French, same with hairstyle. There's not really an Asian French way of dressing or hairstyling.
Asians who recently arrived in France like the Chinese FOB for example tend to dress like in their native country. You can easily recognize the differences between two groups, Chinese FOB and Asian French.
Melissa Theuriau has a quite typical look of a White French girl. I would even say she looks typically French. There are a lot of White French girls who look like her in the streets of Paris. She is not considered a "hotty" anymore since she dates an Arab French comedian who is quite short and ugly. Do some search on google with "Melissa Theuriau & Djamel Debbouze" and you will find out what the French people say about them.

Man i just googled that fella....you have got to be kidding me!
A lot of French-Canadians look extremely French too...making them deceptively seem "more European" than a lot of Anglophones here...which is ironic, since most French-Canadians have left Europe and been here much longer...I guess, they are more homgenous then....who knows.
