Tell me about it! Canadians are not good at drinking! And those who are supposed to be big drinkers - I beat them 6-0. I hope to get drunk in Finland when I go there with Ratbert next month But Swedish parties are the best in the world!
Belgium is one of my favorite places to visit in Europe and I have some really good friends there (I live in Italy right now, by the way). I guess the key is "getting to know them". They do seem cold and aloof at first but once you get to know them, you can really develop genuine friendship. I suppose that's the case wherever you go, but I much prefer that over really friendly but fake friendship you often find in many places. Just my 2 cents.
But Swedish parties are the best in the world!
