Why do anglophones always have to speak English with non-English speakers then? Talk another language then In Rome, do as the Romans do!
Exactly--if I ever get a chance to go overseas, I will at least attempt the homeland's tongue...it's just rude and impolite to imagine that everyone will speak English. I will probably stay at a hotel where there are English speakers though just so I won't get lost or sold into an opium den with my horrible language skills.

Hillbillies don't learn other languages and expect everyone to serve them in the hillbillies' own language even if they are in country X, Y or Z
