AznLover EuropeDiscussions about living, working, studying, visiting, or playing in Europe.
To jackyo: Moscow is their "headquarters" but after all it is the headquarters of anything.. just name it and you will get it.. They are less visible in other big cities, almost absent northen cities and definitely unpopular in the Far East.. Mind you that they would often approach shabby looking Tadzhiks and/or Uzbeks who look Asian.. and although yes, there were some tragic accidents in both Moscow and St. Petersburgh I would not go as far as suggest it is dangerous to visit Russia as an exchange student..
Nevertheless, I would not recommend Russia as a country of choice.. Austria and Italy are absolutely fabulous in every respect, not to mention the liberal views of the majority of population.. At the same time, I would like, for instance, to hear more about the universities that will host you.. In the end, the quality of education matters even more than the country you choose. Still, no matter what country you will settle on, Europe is so small that it will be easy and pleasant to travel by train and enjoy your time if not in all then in many of the countries that are on your list..
I'll love you, dear, I'll love you till China and Africa meet and the river jumps over the mountain and the salmon sing in the street. --W. H. Auden
My school offers exchange programs(BBA) in the following places in europe. What do you think? I want to enjoy myself there, where should i go for the best experience.
Austria
Denmark
Finland
France
Germany
Ireland
Italy
Netherlands
Norway
Russia
Spain
Sweden
United Kingdom
Which cities in these countries are the schools located in? That would help a little in deciding.
According to a recent survey, people in Denmark were the most happiest with their lot in life. And, a few years back, I remember that people in Russia were said to be the most unhappy.
I wouldn't choose france, unless it's like the south of France. I went to Paris, I didn't like it there..I think it's a place for old souls.
If you are a single guy, I don't think Italy would be a good choice? Correct me if I'm wrong, but a Canadian girl said Italian girls from Italy usually stay within their own race?
well the school in Austria is in Vienna. It is the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration.
Vienna... Ahh!! I love Vienna! Mozart, Mahler, Stephansdom etc
Vienna dialect is also my fave of German diaclects The city is full of culture, but I am sure that the young have loads to do there as well. I had a GREAT time there one summer when I stayed there for a month.
The one in Sweden is Lund University.
Good pick. Vivid student life.
University College Dublin, in Ireland
Take your umbrella with you.
In UK, they have different programs in Glasgow, Manchester and Bath Glasgow has a good nightlife, crowded pubs and energetic football fans in skirts (kilts). Bath is a calm little town, that seniors would probably love. Take your grandmother there! I have never been to Manchester, but that is an industrial town, I have heard.
Helsinki School of Economics, Finnland
Next to my old business school. Well, you know what I think about Finland. And Finland is with one N, not two.
Boccani University, Milan.
Never been to Milan, but a former roommate told that she had to learn Italian to be able to go to courses there.

Well you can't really beat the grandiose of most European capitals. Also, places with Bath and Milan have good mixes of history, culture and modern avant-guarde.
I think the biggest factor you need to consider is the curriculum you will take and how that fits into your educational picture. Which school offers the best at what you are looking for in educational terms?
Ok I think is time for me to input a little bit on the topic. If you are concentrating on academic then I am not the best person to ask but if you ask me nightlife I been to most to the
