i've been living in vancouver for 4 years, so i'd want something different than what we have here. i want to go somewhere where people are more intellectual, friendly, open-minded. Basically, I'd want to meet with people who have a global perspective of the world, not just always getting all uptight about their 'culture' being threatened by immigrants lol. I want to go to a place where people have respect for different cultures so I can also comfortably and more easily enjoy and appreciate theirs too.
Also, asians don't really get taken seriously here in vancouver (esp. with non-asian chicks), and i hope that when i go out to have fun during my stay there, I dont have to be frustrated and just have fun. I dont really care a lot about the night life, entertainment or stuff like that. But more about the people there, and a bit more importantly, a low(er) cost of living.
Oh, what a great decision you have!
I'm not well versed on Europe so I can't help but wherever you end up, have fun! If you ever have this question about of Asian countries, I'm your huckleberry!

I'd pick Ireland....the culture there in Dublin is very young. I think the average age is 30's. It's got a big city feel but step outside and you have lovely country side. It Grand!
