"You're traveling through another dimension -- a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land who's boundaries are that of imagination. That's a signpost up ahead: your next stop: the Twilight Zone!"
- Rod Sterling
Not from Scandavia but heading to thailand for Kickboxing training so will be meeting alot of Scandavians. I'll also be in Cambodia and be interested to see if there are Scandanavians there.
Buakaw is cool. But did you know that he is ethnically Khmer and not Thai?
oh, i think i'm probebly the only one from scandinavia in this website
But anyway thanks for the welcome.
tt8ken, I didnt know he a cambodian, no matter where he comm from, He is damn good, r u a pro, tt8ken
No I am not a pro. I am an amateur. I think it is crazy for anyone who doesn't have to be a boxer to be one--it hurts like arse and you live, breath, eat, drink, and sleep boxing. There is no life.
However, I love the art and I love the culture that comes with the art.
In Thailand, many of the top fighters are Cambodian, because that is where the art started. They can't say they are Khmer because of politics. Many of the Sidyothang guys are Khmer. Tony Jaa, the actor, is also Khmer.
If you like Buakaw you there are many other boxers better than him in Thailand if you can believe that. Saechai and Anawut are the two off my head and I think Yodsenklai can take Buakaw too.
Anyways, good luck finding another Scandavian. There are a bunch of them in Thailand bathing topless on the Thai beaches
I'm agree, those pros have not life, train 8 hours a day, 7 days a week, just like a mashine
I know Buakaw is not the best, Andy sauwer is better than at least in K1 rules, but I like Buakaw's style, attitute, a very pround fighter. Noway Yodsankai can beat him, only thing Yod does is left kicks and a little bit bxing, and he will get very tied in 3. round. Buakaw kicks better, boxing better, clench better and he has better condition.
Let those topless scandinavians stay in thai beaches so you can hit it ( hopelly not guys) I just try too find someone near me.
