Didn't watch the show, but let me guess what may have happened (assuming all the below countries took part?):


- The Balkans gave each other maximum points

- The Baltics gave each other maximum points

- The Balearics gave each other maximum points

- Greece and Cyprus gave each other maximum points

- The Scandinavians gave each other maximum points

- UK and Ireland gave each other maximum points

- Germany and Turkey gave each other maximum points

(maximum points in this case meaning the 8, 10 or 12 points)

or near enough...

and it will happen next year, and the year after that, and the year after that regardless of the songs...

I didn't see when they announced the points... But I am sure that slavs voted for each other. The ESC is more and more political nowadays... But at least sometimes the pattern is broken...

Almost, but Germany did get their maximum points from... Bulgary. Because Lucy (one of them No Angels chicks) is Bulgarian, so in German TV these points are called the Lucy-points. They also got 2 points from somewhere else, however, that was rather unexpected...
