The Germans didn't play that bad. They're just a little bit unlucky.

Germany were good in the first ten mins or so then Spain kicked into gear and was pretty much one way traffic for most of the game. I was surprised Fabregas was brought off as, although he wasn't having a brilliant game, he was doing better than Xavi. Ballack has a terrible finals record now I nearly feel sorry for him until I remember he's a chelski player. Torres finally has a good game and a hell of a finish for the goal I'm not convinced that Lehman was at fault for it Lahm should've dealt with it, Lahms been terrible the last two games. Man of the match I'd say either Senna or Iniesta. Glad I don't own a Tapas bar in Germany! Well done Spain

Damn...this final game of Euro 2008 sucks!!! I was expecting more from both teams...but still they just fucking managed to get one goal for the whole 90 minutes.
Anyway, Spain won the game. Guess this is just part of life, I assume....
They who control the midfield wins matches. Simple, or?
As much as Germany tried to clog the midfield and trying to get Spain to hoof the long ball, the Spanish midfield eventually asserted itself. For example, IMHO Senna is like another Makelele: unsung, unglamorous, but absolutely huge in composure, distribution, and effect.
It would've been nice to have seen Spain better finish on a couple of glorious chances. Beautiful football can win championships.

I don't really like to say it, but the germans were bad most of the time in this game, the spanish simply overrun them.

I also hoped for a more exciting game, but at least the better team won.
