Anyone here can give me some tips on Spain. Im thinking seriously aboutgoing to spain next aug. I know iwanna go to ibiza for a little and other places. im doing my research as well.

I didn't spend any time in Spain, besides the airports, but spent 16 days in Ibiza in July for the party season. First of all, that was my first mistake: I spent too much time in that tiny little island. Honestly, you can do and see all of Ibiza in about 3-4 days. What I should of done was split up my time by spending 3-4 days in Ibiza, then the rest of my time hopping around Europe. Secondly, Ibiza is a tourist trap in the party season. You will run into A LOT of young, drunk, obnoxious, arrogant UK people. The majority of the businesses cater towards them. So you'll see fish & chips/beans & franks on a lot of the restaurant menus there. Thirdly, Ibiza is expensive for the American tourist b/c it uses the Euro as its sole currency. One beer at a mega club will cost you about $16!!!
If you do go to Ibiza, you must check out its neighboring island of Formentera. Spend at least one day on Formentera b/c it has some of the prettiest beaches I've ever seen. You can get there by ferry and it'll cost you about $40 round trip. Be forewarned though, its a nude beach, so you'll see a lot of nakedness! I visited most of the big cities of Ibiza, but I stayed in San Antonio de Portmany. San Antonio is a bit cleaner, has cheaper hotels and is safer than Ibiza Town. Ibiza Town has the majority of the "alternative" type people. (Be sure to check out Old Town at night. Hahahahaha!) Be sure to check out the town of Santa Eularia, which is about a 30 minute bus ride from San Antonio. Santa Eularia has a very beautiful mountain coast line, which is great for hiking.
If you do go, bring a crew with you or at least a wing man. Altough I went by my self, I still had a pretty good time. If you do go solo, hook up with a group of girls, but it will get expensive partying with them.

Hehe I thought Spain was "anti-Asian man". Some countries give off that vibe more than others.
I wouldn't say Spain is "anti-Asian man", but you won't see many Asians at all. I think I saw no more than 10 Asian people my whole entire 16 days there. Like I mentioned before, it's mostly white Europeans that vacation there.

Damn u went by urself? I was thinking about going by myself as well. Idk if any of my friends would go. Shit its hard enought just to get all of us to go to the beach which is like 4hrs away no less getting on a plane and flying across the ocean! LOL. Yeha getting up with a group of girls could get expensive, but the payout might be better! LOL jk so about 4-5 days on Ibiza and the rest going around?
Yea man, 4-5 days is plenty. Like I mentioned before, make sure to spend a day on Formentera Island. The rest of the your time, just hop around Europe.
He was there in the 80's when he was young. He had a Spanish girlfriend, a lot of Spanish girlfriends, and he used to hang out with two buddies, also Asian males.
One of his friends had a "very Asian face" (actually he looked like a famous criminal from my home country and also happened to be an ex gang member, nice guy though :P) and he was very popular with local Spanish women.
The other dude was short and ugly but still got laid cuz he was outgoing.
My relative was the average guy but he wasn't afraid of approaching women and he had good conversation skills.
Asian guys were sort of a novelty in Spain back then but now with the influx of Chinese immigrants that is changing and the Spanish are developing quite a negative view of Asians, esp. Chinese.
Anyway, if you're outgoing and good at conversation you can still hook up with some fun Spanish girls.
