St. Bartholomä, a small and quite attractive monastery, is located about halfway down the lakeshore.
It is peculiar how St. Bartholomä looks more to me like an Orthodox monestary than a Catholic one. This is because of the cyclindrical components as well as the smoother domes, somewhat akin to the minarets of a mosque.
Although, if we look carefully at the crosses at the top, they are western and not Orthodox.

That is nice. Reminds me of German-speaking area of Switzerland. Hmm I haven't been in Central Europe for ages... Central Switzerland is my fave part of the country The most beautiful, I think.
