This is a question only us North Americans who know nothing of Germany, other than Hollywood films would ask.
If anything, we should be asking if whether Nazism is on the rise here!
If anything, quasi-Nazi fascism is on the rise in the United States and isolated parts of Western Canada. Since Nazi or pseudo-Nazi paraphernalia is illegal in Germany, any "Nazi" groups in Germany would have to smuggle such stuff from the United States!
Another better question is, is Nazism on the rise in Russia? I know, St. Petersburg is the only place in Russia with noticeable racism, but could it spread elsewhere?
