Hi All - I'm from aussie (Melbourne). This is my first post .

Just wanted to check with everyone a theory that I seemed to have developed during my 2 months trip in Europe.

I was in France/Italy for the past months...went with my AF girlfriend. One thing I noticed is that

1) Seems to be a general lack of AM representation on the street. I'm talking sorta decent-looking, well-dressed, fun-looking sorta AM guy. There seems to have quite a lot of AF around (japanese tourist girls mostly) but I don't recall seeing much of AM around in Europe. Not counting UK/London tho cos there are heaps.

2) And, perhaps as a result, I seem to have drawn a bit of attention in some places. Me and my gal were shopping somewhere and I remembered this pair of Italian twin sisters (twin!) kinda just stopped and marvelled at me...it definitely wasn't a look of disgust (i.e. OMG he's ugly) but more like 'so...this is what they look like..hmm...' sorta thing. Now that happened in Milan and I wasn't in some country town etc. And another time when I was in the cafe outside LaFeyette waiting for my gal (she's lining up for LV...sigh...story for another time) there was this cute brunette that came and spoke to me...really really cute accent (she was pointing out nice building to me...she pointed out 3 buildings and everytime she pointed she said 'la...la....la'. LOL. 'La' must have been 'that one' in French?). Then my girlfriend came back from LV and she thought that I must have went and picked up (had to explain for about 2 hours). Anyway now 'la..la..la' is a bit of a private joke of ours .

What does everyone think?

Here in Denmark, all those blonde danish chicks flock around me like monkeys in a banana-tree too. I learned Judo just to get them off me. I get the stare too when I venture outside and into the streets where no asian has stepped before, but its the "I fuck you and throw you away" stare so I tend to avoid looking them in their eyes. Things are a wee bit different in Sweden tho. There is packed full with well-dressed asien men, so I go relatively un-noticed around in the streets. Same in Norway.

I got the same impression when I visited the Fujian province in China.
Seems to be a general representation of Caucasians on the street. Astonishing.

I see nowadays many Chinese tourists in Helsinki. Most of them are middle-aged and of course they are not appealling to young Finnish girls because of their age. We have some Westernised Asians here, but not that many...
