Yes, twice. Just went in Oct 2006 in fact. I love that place and can spend hours and hours there.
Apart from the fantastic art work, you might want to note the following things:
- Unless you really have to, try not to enter the museum from the front entrance (the big glass pyramid) cos it mostly likely will be a long lineup depending on what time you arrive. Instead, enter from the back entranace through the underground shopping centre and avoid the big tourist crowd!
- And while you are walking through that underground shopping centre...do line up this time and take a picture with the supposed tomb of Mary Magdalene...Go on, you know you want to!
- Start early and go straight and visit Mona Lisa...the first time you see Mona Lisa you'll be thinking...it's so small! Also, note that no matter where you walk, she will still look you in the eye (just a painting technique)!...oh did I just give that away?
