AznLover EuropeDiscussions about living, working, studying, visiting, or playing in Europe.
I'm new to aznlover. It's possible that I will move to South Africa next year for something work related. Is anyone from South Africa or lived there for some time? I was born in Vietnam and raised in the usa. Most of my girlfriends have been white. I'm most attracted to white girls. I wonder if the white ladies in S Africa are open to dating asian men? Or is IR dating de facto forbidden because of the history of that country.
South Africa is beautiful! I was there in 2003 and I had a blast! Went backpacking with a friend through the Transkei and along the garden route along the south coast, went to all major cities. If you do indeed go, you'll see the separation of blacks and whites. Even after the apartheid, there still is tons of racism/discrimination. When I went the only asians I saw were those working in restaurants or other little shops. I wouldn't say it's a prime area for yellow fever amongst their women, but you should give it a shot. People there are generally nice. The dutch women there are FIIIIIIIIIIIIIINE. Guarenteed to make your willy susceptible to crying..... But again, I wouldn't recommend it if you're willing to spread your seed there with a dutch woman - I did not see any multiracial couples.
I double my charm (pics) music_((d-_-b))

Clearly you weren't looking in the right places or didn't go to the major cities. Spend one afternoon on the University of Cape Town campus, or the V&A waterfront and you'll see tons of interracial couples (I'll agree though, AM/XF aren't the forerunners in that department). The asian community is rocking like a stocking in cape town and while a number may work in small asian shops, reality is, those of other races do too. Dutch women? Not too easy to spot them if you're not familiar (especially me. people are like WTF?), most people think Dutch people look or sound German (Go figure), unless you mean Afrikaans women, in which case Dutch and Afrikaans are two seperate cultures and people, regardless of origin. There are seperations between white and black, depending on the areas you visit. You'll notice it in the shant towns quite obviously, and really advantaged versus disadvantaged areas. Aside from that, you'll hardly notice it in cosmo areas.
Life is what happens when you make other plans - going to be offline for quite a while... well, might pop back every now and then
Wish you were here - Incubus I dig my toes into the sand
The ocean looks like a thousand diamonds
Strewn across a blue blanket
I lean against the wind
Pretend that I am weightless
And in this moment I am happy...happy

South Africa makes some great wine too.... Good thing when you wanna get em shit-faced..
One can't but help notice the economic/racial divide in SA.
Having said that, the young white SAs I have talked to don't seem to have a hang up over race (but then again - they have the luxury of looking at this from an advantageous position).
Anyway - can't really say one way or another. Some white SA girls won't give you the time of day and others may be intrigued by something different.
What probably matters more is your own individual characteristics (a good-looking Asian guy will eventually find interest from girls, a dork, otoh, is going to struggle no matter where he is).
Btw, besides checking out the local girls (well, white ones anyway - there are also some very attractive black women), the scenery is breathtaking along the coastline.
