well i saw it with Nordic... and this androgynous looking woman from Serbia won. voice wasnt too bad, but didnt really stand out to me. well maybe cause i didnt understand the words. but second was this over the top bunch of tranvestites in silver disco / christmass looking space suits or something from Ukraine! The gay and lesbian voters must have been voting in full force this year.

Of the finalists, I think my favorite was the group from Hungary. Moldova the singer had a good voice. Russia would probably suceed internationally as some kind of girl pop group like spice girls.

I'm not American. I like Irish music in Gaelic (even though I dont understand any of it), and I also like Japanese music (even though most of the words I cant follow cause its too fast for my skill level).

Although the country I wanted to win in the first place didn't, I thought that Marija Serifovic was good, she did well and deserved to win. The song is called 'Prayer' and I liked the melody when she came to -"Molitva, kao žar na mojim usnama je molitva, mesto reÄ?i samo ime tvoje nebo zna, baÅ¡ kao ja koliko puta sam ponovila to nebo zna, baÅ¡ kao ja da je ime tvoje moja molitva." There was just something about it.

But, as soon as I saw her enter onto the stage I flew in front of the screen, and then asked the people I was with to tell me what they thought without seeing her. They all replied that they liked her, but when I moved away they were like - *gasp!* "OH!" Eurovision is a song contest, not about looks. I don't get if someone looks good they get LOADS of votes, but if they're not up to standards, they hardly get any. And if they're doing some odd stuff on the stage whilst singing, turn your head away and just listen to the voice - works for me.

Sorry for the tiny rant. Not aiming it at anyone here in particular, just in general and maybe about the people around my place last night - they're so shallow! I suppose I luv 'em anyways.
