That latest point defeats your original argument(s) because the fact of the matter is that culture and language transcend ethnic/racial divisions.

China and India are extremely racially heterogenous, BTW, as is Russia.

BTW, isn't Indo-European a linguistic (and not ethnic/racial) category? If so, then you are conflating/mixing your arguments.

In any case, the concept of 'Italy' is pretty much congruent with the modern nation-state.

There is no such thing as a pure or homogenous Italian racial type. In ancient times, Italy was colonised by the Carthaginians and the Greeks, among others, not to mention influxes from Crete and elsewhere in the Mediterranean.

And then there are the historical invasions of Italy by the Normans, Moors, Vandals, Celts, Goths, etc etc... and also Germans, Swiss and Austrians in the Tyrol (which is Italian by way of historical accident).

Yeah, I just mentioned that. I always like to use those three countries as examples of those not classifiable by popular ways of thinking of race. "Diversity" in many other places are only superficial.

True dat. Any population can simply adopt a language.

Sorry...I seem to have confused both of us...

I meant, ...

This is why I hate chatting and typing on the internet...

I would much rather have conversations with you or anyone else in person. Mistyping things confuses any party. At least, if you or I say something strange, we could simply verbally clarify...

That's fortunate, many caucasians want to look like this.

For chinese people, skin colour ranges from white to golden. Traditionally, white is seen as beautiful and tan signifies poverty/(lower class) or so it goes. Hair is always black, usually straight but occasionally curly. Eyes are almost always brown.
